چکیده
Buğday, insanlar için en temel besin kaynağıdır. Bu nedenle tüm dünyada buğday üretimi önemsenmekte, üretimine ilişkin iktisadi politikalar üretilmektedir. Buğdayın talep esnekliği düşük olduğundan fiyatları, arz tarafından belirlenmektedir. Buğday arzı, iklim koşullarından da etkilendiği ülkelerin yıldan yıla değişiklik gösterebilmekte ve bu uluslararası ticareti önem kazanmaktadır. Türkiye, piyasasında net ithalatçı konumundadır bunun doğal sonucu olarak buğdayı girdi kullanan sektörler, döviz kurlarındaki dalgalanmalardan etkilenmektedir. çalışmada Türkiye’nin gelecekteki beş yıllık dönemdeki üretiminin tahmini yapılmıştır. ARIMA modelinin kullanıldığı gelecek dönemde sınırlı bir artış öngörülmüştür. Ayrıca üretiminde artışını sağlayacak üzerinde durulmuş, çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.
